About Me

I came into the psychotherapy profession from a business background, but the first subject that captured my curiosity was language, especially poetry and semantics - the study of meaning creation. I then did an MBA and for 15 years had a freelance career in project management for multinational companies, central government and the NHS, which is now helpful with my coaching clients. I started to train as a psychotherapist alongside my management career and gradually transitioned into having a full time psychotherapy practice in Oxford and online, which I love.

I am interested in research as a way of understanding clinical practice at a greater depth, whilst applying methods which capture subjective human experience. I love facilitating groups and my latest project is a writing-as-therapy group in Central Oxford.
